Additional Information
English (Translate this text in English): Emma Wood state beach park is also known as the Ventura overhead. While not really a windsurfing spot it is a very popular surfing spot, especially during the winter. There is a long stretch of beach, probably 2 miles, between Emma Wood and C-Street and on a windy afternoon some people do kite surf there. About a half mile off shore is a reef and with a big northwest swell the waves can be well over head and have a right and left breaking face. There is also a bowl section on the inside that is popular with the grems (kiddies).
